Some randomized trials and reviews report pain or function improvements from photobiomodulation in knee conditions, particularly osteoarthritis, while other results are less certain. Wavelength, dose, treatment site, session schedule and comparator vary substantially, so the findings do not validate every consumer red-light device or protocol.
